Meet Shannon
Shannon Jones Isadore dedicates her life to solving problems and making progress by connecting people with the resources they need to be successful.
Shannon Jones Isadore for Oregon
A United States Marine Corps Veteran, Shannon leads with the values of accountability, structure, and integrity as both a treatment provider and a business leader.
As CEO and Founder of Oregon Change Clinic, a culturally specific clinic that provides substance use and mental health treatment as well as supportive housing, Shannon has proven that we can meet Oregon’s toughest challenges when the right leaders are at the table.
Shannon is a native Portlander. She grew up in the Albina neighborhood where she lived with her Mother and Grandmother and was surrounded by a vibrant, thriving community that shared and cared for each other. Shannon attended Irvington Elementary School and Lincoln High School before becoming the first member of her family to go to college, eventually earning a Masters Degree in Family Psychotherapy.
Shannon is running for State Representative in House District 33 because she believes in Portland and Portlanders.
In addition to her credentials and experience as a mental health clinician and treatment provider, Shannon was an investment broker and managed over 30 agents in three cities. She is the leader we deserve at this critical moment. Shannon has seen what’s possible for our communities when we meet people where they are and give them the structure and resources they need to succeed, hold them accountable, and lead with integrity.
Since founding Oregon Change Clinic in 2021, Shannon has brought people together across state, local, and county government to more than triple the number of Oregonians receiving addiction treatment at her clinic, and successfully converted a dilapidated motel into 37 beds for people in treatment.
Nowhere are the challenges Oregon faces more urgent than in Downtown and Northwest Portland.
Shannon will tackle our mental health and addiction, homelessness, and public safety crises the same way she did the Marine obstacle course – relentlessly, boldly, and with urgency.
If you love this place and believe in Portland too, join us.
